Important updates! Please read!
The Museum has begun a major expansion and renovation project that will make our campus more accessible and welcoming to all. Due to construction during the 2023-24 school year, all regular permanent-collection galleries will be closed. Instead, we welcome you to visit these special exhibitions: Black Artists of Oregon, Throughlines, and Africa Fashion. Please confirm exhibition dates on the Museum’s website to ensure the exhibition you intend your students to see will be open at the time of your visit.
Please refer to K-12 & College Visits and Tips for Visiting for more detailed information on arrival and school bus parking.
We are thrilled to launch a new, guided K-12 tour program this fall. College and graduate student Learning Guides will be available to facilitate K-12 visits on Wednesdays and Fridays between 10:15 and 1:15 at no charge. Thank you in advance for learning with us and providing feedback as we pilot and develop this new program. Please find additional information at K-12 & College Visits.
Self-guided class visits will continue to be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays after 1:00 and all day on Thursdays and weekends.
To request a tour, please select a date and time below and follow the prompts to enter your group information. Tour reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance.
K-12 students, teachers, chaperones, and aides receive FREE admission with advance registration. The reservation system requires a 1:6 adult to student ratio for school visits. We understand that it is not always possible to meet that requirement. Please leave a note in the comments box if you will have fewer adults in your group.
College groups receive discounted admission of $5.00/student with advance registration, or free admission for College Student Pass holders.
Please visit the Museum website for complete information on K-12 and college visits.
